Curriculum Leadership Council
The Curriculum Leadership Council (CLC) serves as a collaborative community of educators who "lead by doing." The CLC will learn, reflect, and empower each other to be teacher leaders, with the knowledge and skills to transform culture and practice at our schools.
For the 2010/2011 school year, a CLC Task Force of K-12 Language Arts, Mathematics and Visual Arts teachers, Middle and High School Science and History teachers, Department Chairs, Subject Area Coordinators, and Coaches will:
- Learn about and design content specific learning goals based on essential standards
- Learn about and design scales for essential standards modeled after the work of Robert Marzano
- Learn about and design instructional feedback models
This year's book selections are Robert Marzano's Designing and Teaching
Learning Goals and Objectives and Formative Assessment and Standards-Based
Grading.
